News & updates for the month of June
Open Studio
This is something I’ve been dreaming of for a looooong time. If you’ve seen me at local markets, you know I relish the opportunity to share my pots in person, and to create beautiful displays for you to enjoy. Hosting an Open Studio is my chance to bring that same in-person experience but bigger, better, and even more immersive. You’ll get to shop my entire selection of pottery, preview new introductions, see what I’m currently working on, and check out all the tools and materials I use to create my pottery. My hope is that it will be a fun, unique, and inspiring shopping experience!
Open Studio events will be held on the first Saturday of every month from 9am to 6pm. There will be light refreshments offered, and pottery available for purchase. Park on the street (either side of the road) and walk down the short gravel driveway to the studio entrance on the side of the house. There is a short set of 3 stairs leading to the studio entrance.

Studio Pick-Up is back!
In order to prepare for the Open Studio events, my husband and I have been busting our behinds to get the house in order. It’s still very much a work in progress, but we have reached a point where we feel it is presentable! The studio also needed a lot of work - lots of rearranging and organizing - to make it suitable for visitors. It has been reconfigured so that it can easily transform from hard-working functional space to a welcoming and inspiring place to welcome guests. In that light, I am happy to announce that I have reinstated studio pick-up as an option for local orders - simply select it as your shipping option at checkout and I will be in touch to coordinate a time.
Shepherdstown Street Fest
I’ll be returning to Street Fest this year on Saturday, June 29th. This is an amazing, well organized event with great food, unique artisans, and boogie music to boot! It’s a one day event that is absolutely worth attending. Hope to see you there!
Summer Colors
It’s that time of year when bright blues and greens really shine. I have a summertime tradition of trading in my usual neutral glazes for the sparkling colors of the sea and sky during the summer months. These glazes will blend beautifully with your existing collection and add a pop of color that will have you dreaming of summer all year long. Available in person at the Open Studio event June 1st, and on the website after that based on availability.
